The following are some phrases and bullets of information that can be used when marketing Master Cancel to your guests:

  • UK version: We are protected by Master Cancel which removes the stress and worry from booking your next holiday. You can cancel up to and including 2 days before the check in date.  Master Cancel’s flexible terms & conditions allow you to book with confidence, knowing that if you cancel for unforeseen circumstances, we will refund you in full.
  • Additional bullets permitted for use with guest facing marketing documents:
    • Delivers “peace of mind” by simplifying the guest cancellation process into terms that all parties can understand.
    • Guests can cancel up to and including 2 days prior to check-in and receive a full refund.

The following are some phrases that can NOT be used when marketing Master Cancel to your guests:

  • CANNOT say this is a “cancel for any reason” program.
    • Cancel for Any Reason is a reference to travel protection.
    • Master Cancel does not cover two items: 1) war/terrorism and 2) nuclear/radioactive disaster.
  • CANNOT charge the guest directly for Master Cancel (“pay only 5% to gain flexible cancellation terms & conditions”).
    • Master Cancel protects the property manager.
    • If property manager wants to recoup the cost of Master Cancel, they should simply raise their booking rates.
